- A group of children working together
on a map puzzle.
Encompassing sciences and arts, the cultural curriculum
area is a rich and varied range of experiences for the
children. With activities ranging from making a volcano
or a playdough "earth" through to using matching cards
with art masterpieces or botany samples, through to tracing
continents from "map puzzles", through to enjoying a range
of cultural festivals, the child's knowledge base and
life experience is enhanced.
"It is a miracle that curiosity survives
formal education."
~ Albert Einstein
"If a child is to keep alive his inborn sense of wonder, he needs the companionship of at least one adult who can share it, rediscovering with him the joy, excitement and mystery of the world we live in."
~ Rachel Carson
